Welcome to my corner of the web

Hello, and welcome. This is the first post on my new site — a small, personal home base where I can write, share what I’m working on, and point people to the things I’ve made.

Why a personal site?

Social platforms come and go, and they shape what you say. A site you own is different: it’s calm, it’s yours, and it’s there for the long haul. This is where I’ll keep:

• Writing — notes, essays and half-formed thoughts.
• Projects — the things I build and tinker with.
• A “Now” page — what I’m focused on at the moment.

How posting works

Adding a post here is delightfully low-friction: I drop a Markdown file into a folder and it shows up. No CMS, no database, no logging in. That means I’ll actually write, rather than fighting tools.

The best system is the one you’ll keep using.
